A.R.C. Shock Travel Sensors – Pair (Left & Right)
Precision Suspension Monitoring | 0.1 mm Resolution | Advanced RC Drag Racing Telemetry
Take your suspension tuning to the next level with the Black Belt RC A.R.C. Shock Travel Sensors.
Designed specifically for the A.R.C. Traction Control System, these precision sensors independently monitor left and right shock movement, providing valuable insight into how your RC drag car's suspension responds during launch and acceleration.
With 0.1 mm measurement resolution, the A.R.C. Shock Travel Sensors capture even subtle suspension movements, allowing racers to analyse squat, rebound, suspension balance and chassis behaviour throughout a run.
What's Included
-
1 × Left Shock Travel Sensor
-
1 × Right Shock Travel Sensor
-
Custom-length sensor assemblies ordered to suit your vehicle's mounting requirements.
Key Features
-
0.1 mm Measurement Resolution – Monitor fine suspension movements for detailed performance analysis.
-
Independent Left & Right Monitoring – Record individual shock movement to identify differences between each side of the vehicle.
-
Squat & Rebound Analysis – Understand how your suspension compresses and extends under acceleration.
-
Suspension Balance Monitoring – Compare left and right shock travel to identify uneven movement.
-
High-Speed Data Logging – Records suspension movement alongside other A.R.C. performance telemetry.
-
A.R.C. Traction Master Integration – View shock travel graphs alongside RPM, throttle input, ESC output and longitudinal G-force.
-
Multi-Run Comparison – Compare suspension behaviour between recorded passes to evaluate tuning adjustments.
-
Custom-Length Configuration – Sensor assemblies are ordered to accommodate your vehicle's specific shock lengths and mounting requirements.
Understand Your Suspension Like Never Before
Suspension movement plays an important role in how an RC drag car transfers weight and maintains traction during acceleration.
The A.R.C. Shock Travel Sensors allow racers to see exactly when and how their suspension moves throughout a run.
Analyse:
-
Initial Launch Movement – Identify how quickly the suspension responds when power is applied.
-
Squat & Rebound – Measure suspension compression and extension during acceleration.
-
Left-to-Right Differences – Detect variations in shock movement that may indicate suspension imbalance.
-
Suspension Timing – Compare shock movement against RPM, throttle output and longitudinal G-force.
-
Setup Changes – Evaluate how adjustments to springs, shock oil, preload and suspension geometry affect vehicle behaviour.
Custom-Ordered to Suit Your Vehicle
Every pair of A.R.C. Shock Travel Sensors is custom-ordered following purchase.
Because RC drag cars vary in shock length, suspension geometry and available mounting space, the sensor assemblies are ordered specifically to suit your vehicle.
This ensures the appropriate sensor lengths can be selected for your individual installation.
Important: Customers will be required to provide vehicle and shock measurements after purchasing so the correct sensor lengths and mounting configuration can be confirmed.
As these sensors are custom-ordered, additional preparation and dispatch time may apply.
Compatibility
Designed for use with compatible Black Belt RC A.R.C. Traction Control Systems equipped with shock travel monitoring functionality.
Recorded suspension data can be analysed using A.R.C. Traction Master software and compared alongside other available performance telemetry.
Please Note: This product includes one pair of shock travel sensors (left and right). The A.R.C. controller is sold separately and is required for operation. These sensors are not standalone data loggers.
PRECISION SUSPENSION DATA. BETTER TUNING INSIGHT. GREATER CONTROL.
